Study of the hadronic interaction in low energy annihilation and lepton decays within chiral inspired models
abstract
A consistent way to study the hadron production in e+e- annihilation and the hadronic decay modes of the lepton is a rerequisite for a better understanding of the hadronization mechanism in the energy region below 2 GeV. In this energy region, neither perturbative QCD methods nor chiral Lagrangians are expected to work to a good precision and one has to rely on phenomenological approaches. The resonance Chiral approach provides a useful tool to handle the study of hadronization procedures in the energy region dominated by resonances: it succeeds in reproducing low energy results, predicted by Chiral Perturbation Theory, at least, at the next-to-leading order and also complies with QCD high energy constraints. In this talk parameterizations of the hadronic current based on the Resonance Chiral Lagrangian for the processes of and are discussed. The theoretical results are implemented in the Monte Carlo generators Tauola, Fasterd and Phokhara. The model parameters are fitted to the BaBar Collaboration data for the hadronic decay modes and to the Kloe data for two pion production in . e+e-
